It's hatched! Early on Monday morning we heard an unusual sound in the classroom but it wasn't long before we realised what was happening. We peeked at the Dragon eggs only to find that they had both hatched and we now have two wonderful baby dragons in year 1. The excitement didn't stop and we all had a fantastic time on Sports Day. It was great fun joining in and watching everyone try their very best.
Although we haven't given up looking for the sword we have decided maybe we should start thinking of new ways to solve the problem. We went into sword production on Wednesday morning and really enjoyed using the messy mod-roc to create a replacement for King Arthur. We hope he will be delighted with our creations however they are not quite as sparkly yet so we haven't quite finished our task!
After such a busy and exciting week it was lovely to have the prayer spaces event on Friday. The activities in the church really helped us to think carefully about ourselves, our friends and our families. We wrote our own prayers and created unique prayer bead paper chains.
