I have been a Parent Governor since February 2018 and I also act as Chair of the Curriculum and Data Committee.
Information shared and discussed in the latter forum offers insight on how the school performs in between Ofsted reviews though, of course, the statistics we review cannot capture all the time and effort spent by the staff – both in and out of the classroom – in guiding and supporting the children.
I’ve been in Linton for 7 years (and in the Cambridge area for much longer) and have two boys, it’s been a privilege to watch them develop in and out of the school.
In my ‘spare’ time, I hold 3 season tickets which give a pretty good indication of where my interests lie: at Duxford IWM, for the lido at Jesus Green and at Manchester City FC
