Princess Daisy started this week off with a worrying problem. She realised that Dragons tend to eat meat and was not sure that she would be very safe when the dragon returned to the castle. We have tried to help her up by suggesting different things she could feed to the baby dragon and have started to try and train gold dragon to eat fruit and veg! We knew it could be done as we read about 'Herb the vegetarian dragon'. We have made fruit kebabs which could be a handy snack whenever the dragon or even the princess gets peckish!
We have practised writing some of the letters that are in the fruit names, sorted them by size and even tried painting with carrots.
The most delicious job this week was painting with milk onto bread and then toasting it. We choose to use a toaster instead of a dragon to toast our bread. It was much safer than having a fire breathing dragon in the classroom!
