Last week we came to school and discover that the goat's problem was worse than ever! Their nice juicy field had turn into a dry and dusty patch of mud. The goats were rapidly running out of grass to eat. Unfortunately we hadn't enough toll tokens yet to get an animal across the bridge, so we had to come up with a solution to keep the goats going in the meantime.
We decided to grow them some grass and some cress. We investigated which place they would grow the best, and of course, we taste tested the cress sandwiches before we sent them off to the goats. Even though the cress grew best by the sunny window, the grass did start to grow later on, and we measured it to see how much it had grown.
