We have been in touch with our Rabbity friends who asked us to help them look for a new burrow site in the meadow as they are worried about living too near a troll. We took a walk down there and explored all the best places. Can you guess where we chose? It certainly wasn't near the bridge! Our cress crops have grown so much that this week we had to check that it was good enough for the rabbits to eat. We had lots of fun making cress sandwiches and had a taste to check out the quality! We used clay to create 3D troll sculptures. It was tricky to make sure all the cracks were covered but we really persevered. Understanding and following directions was a focus in maths this week. We used words like forwards, backwards, left and right to find places and give someone else instructions to follow. Other animals have been trying their best to get over the bridge and we have written stories about rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs, foxes and badgers. we had lots of interesting ideas about what the animals might want to eat on the other side.
