.... and where would it take us? We noticed this key was very old and a little bit rusty. We all thought that there must be an old door somewhere in Linton and with the help of a little technology we discovered the key was for the church! We looked at special symbols we would find in the church, used wax crayons to create rubbings on a cross and made our very own stained glass windows.
We knew that the special Harvest festival was going to happen in church so thought lots about farmers, harvest and sharing. We learnt the story of The Little Red Hen and thought her friends were really very lazy and rude although we did not agree with Mr Wolf who gobbled up his lazy friends! Instead we decided upon another golden key promise 'We will help each other and be kind'. We kept this promise and helped the Little Red Hen out by tasting some of her bread and making some delicious jam sandwiches with the bread she had sent us.
We had great fun learning songs for Harvest, The Magic Porridge pot and Big Red Combine Harvester. Lots of us would like to have a ride in a combine!
