Little Robots vs Button Moon
Well, what a week!
Marty sent us an email to suggest two programmes that we might like to broadcast on our channel. It was so tricky to choose that in the end purple and red class has to agree to disagree! Maybe we will have to timetable them for different days in the week!
We have been busy continuing to use junk to make wonderful creations, we noticed that Button moon characters were made of junk and this inspired some of us to make robots and rockets. Paper plates were our inspiration for making aliens that we though Mr spoon might encounter and 2D shapes came in really handed to build rocket pictures.
In Maths we have been adding, reading number sentences and even attempting to write down number sentences by ourselves. We know what the signs + and = mean. We have been using all our sound knowledge to read about robots and writing sentences to give facts about the Little Robots.
We have done lots of work today on creating a new 'Hall of Fame' Each week we will be looking at good choices we can make at school and focussing on one to really get under our belts. The children thought very hard about what should be our first good choice focus. They decided upon 'I will sit and listen' All the adults in school with have their eyes peeled for those superstars next week. We also have been thinking about our invisible buckets of happiness that we carry around with us. We want to keep our buckets full and making good choices will really help us. Why not listen to us singing our bucket song on the podcast page?
