Welcome toLinton C.E. Infant School

Where happiness and achievement go hand in hand

Hannah Foote

I love living in Linton and feel very fortunate that my family have made this our home. I grew up in Leicestershire and first moved to Cambridge to study at the university, lived briefly in London where I worked in Human Resources for KPMG, before moving back to Cambridgeshire to train as a secondary school teacher.

I currently work at a large comprehensive secondary school as Deputy Head of Sixth Form and a teacher of Religious Education and Sociology. I am very passionate about education, about the importance of high-quality education for all children, and about supporting children and young people inside and outside of the classroom.

I am a Trustee of The Beacon Youth Trust, a charity which provides funds and strategic direction for youth work in Linton and the surrounding villages. In recent years, I have also had the opportunity to provide consultancy on Religious Education curricula to countries in North Africa via Cambridge Assessment International Education, which has been a very rewarding experience.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a foundation governor of Linton CE Infants school for nearly three years, although my connection with the school spans almost a decade, as my own three children have all been pupils there and have now moved on to the other Linton schools. I feel very privileged to play a small role in making Linton Infants the lovely school that it is. I am the link governor for Religious Education.
