Where happiness and achievement go hand in hand

School Improvement Development Plan

At Linton CE Infants we are always looking to improve and our priorities are outlined in our School Improvement Development Plan (SIDP). Within this plan we outline our key development objectives within the areas of Leadership and Management, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Outcomes for Pupils, Quality of EYFS Provision and Children's Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare. This plan is adopted and monitored by all staff and governors and our priorities are shared with parents and children with information about how they can help us to achieve our aims.

The priorities identified for 2022-2023 are;

  • To ensure that we review our curriculum and wider school offer to support and meet the needs of disadvantaged children and their families.
  • To embed the Emmanuel project as our RE curriculum across the school.
  • To prepare for the new SIAMS framework.
  • To embed the changes to our curriculum offer with a focus on assessment and ensuring key learning in secure.
  • To undertake the Developing Mastery Project and implement this approach consistently across the school.
  • To implement the new phonics and reading scheme across the school to raise the level of attainment and accelerate progress in phonics and early reading.
