Children and their families are at the heart of all we do, we are committed to achieving our best and providing a high quality early years education for all. It is important for everyone to feel happy and secure within our setting. Our vision statement "Where happiness and achievement go hand in hand" perfectly encompasses our aims.
We are a church school, which provides a nurturing environment where success is celebrated and difference is valued. The Christian ethos and our values based education are of utmost importance and permeate everything we do and offer.
Our school caters for up to 180 children between the ages of 4-7. We are a team of professional people who are very dedicated to the education of young children. It is our aim to ensure that children find learning irresistible yet purposeful. We strive to ensure that children are excited by what they are learning and discover and explore for themselves. The curriculum takes a thematic approach and the whole school will be immersed in the same topic allowing the whole community to explore a common theme and learn together. We believe that learning should be fun and want to encourage all children to develop a life long love of learning.
Although children are at the heart of our school, the partnership with parents, and the links with the community are equally important and with the support these offer, make our school what it is.
The Governors, Headteacher and Staff work closely together as a cohesive team, and we are very fortunate to have such a committed and talented Staff, whose dedication is the key factor in the school’s success.
We are very proud of our school and the learning that happens here.
