Religious Education
Religious Education is an integral part of our curriculum provision at Linton CE Infant School. We follow the Cambridgeshire agreed Syllabus, using "Understanding Christianity" and "The Emmanuel Project" as the foundations to our personalised curriculum offer . We also explore a range of faiths and cultures through festivals and children's personal experiences.
Throughout the year we also have RE focus days around key festivals such as harvest, Christmas and Easter as well as other days which focus around exploring different themes and values. We are very fortunate to be supported by the St Mary's Church team who will come in and lead sessions. This allows us to explore RE through a cross curricular approach which allows children to express their own thoughts and beliefs through art, music and drama.
Our RE lead is Kate Vaughan and our key link Foundation Governor is Cathy Watts who visits the school regularly to talk to staff and children.
