CASSA (Cambridge and Suffolk Schools Alliance)
As a partner within CASSA we take full advantage of the strong partnerships around wider professional development and collaborative projects for moderation and subject development. We are a strategic partner school and our Head teacher and Assistant head teachers contribute across the alliance in delivering sessions as part of the RQT/NQT programmes. Our Early years lead is an accredited SLE (Specialist Leader of Education) and supports other schools in developing practise in early years. In addition we also support CASSA with their Initial Teacher Training recruitment, therefore supporting the developing of new talent in the teaching profession. Further information about the work of CASSA or routes into teaching can be found on their website.
We work very closely with our partner cluster schools with regular Headteacher meetings, moderation activities, shared projects, school visits and resource sharing. Regular cluster meetings are held between with EYFS team and SEN teams. We work closely with our feeder settings and hold regular meetings to share ideas, support practise and plan transitions.
