Uniform gives everyone in the school a sense of belonging, we are a unit. It signals a purpose, we are here to learn! We encourage all children to wear the school uniform.

School uniform that is required at Linton C of E Infant School:

• Red sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan
• White or red polo shirt or shirt
• Grey or black skirt, trousers, dress or shorts or a red gingham summer dress
• Black shoes – not trainers/pumps/Ugg style boots

Any of this uniform can be worn at any time of year.

PE kit is:

• Red t-shirt
• Black shorts or joggers
• A red or black jumper or tracksuit top
• Trainers

When Year 2 children swim in the summer term, they will require a one piece swimming costume or swimming trunks and a towel.

We do not require any of these items to be school-logoed and all of the non-logoed items are available cheaply through supermarkets and other low-cost outlets.

We do offer a range of branded, embroidered uniform can be bought online (see details below). Free delivery is available to school.

Throughout the year we run pre-loved uniform sales where you can purchase good quality second hand uniform that has been donated. Please do come and have a look or if there is something specific that you need you can always come into the office and we will look to see what is available.

Please can we remind parents to name every item of clothing that is sent to school. This includes items such as coats, trainers, caps, etc. as well as uniform. Each term we send at least 3 black sacks of unclaimed uniform to recycling. Don’t let it be yours!
