I joined as a Parent Governor in November 2019 and attend all Full Governing Body meetings, I am also a member of the school’s Finance and Property Committee.

 I am originally from North Yorkshire but have lived in Cambridge since 2013, moving to Linton in 2018. We have three children, Martha (5), Betsy (3) and Dexter (just born this month). Martha is in Foundation and has really enjoyed her first year in the school.

 I have worked for large global business advisory organisations for most of my career, I am now based in Cambridge working for a firm that makes investments in small businesses in the East of England region to help them grow. In my spare time I really like sports and live music, although with three small children I spend a bit less time on those things than I used to!

 My role on the school governing body is to represent parents, and I have to say I have been really impressed by the amount of work and care behind the scenes that keeps the school running, particularly when faced with the sorts of challenges we are all dealing with at present. I’m looking forward to playing a part in the continuing development of the school as things start to return to normal in the months ahead.
